We are seeking a full-time HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources team and enhance the employee experience. In this position, you will provide HR support across key areas including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, HRIS management, and compliance. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, people-focused professional who is passionate about human resources, employee support, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Management & Onboarding

  • Coordinate and administer pre-employment and onboarding processes
  • Manage new hire orientation, including scheduling, materials, and logistics
  • Support initiatives that promote employee retention and engagement
HR Operations & HRIS

  • Maintain accurate employee records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Process employee changes, new hires, and separations
  • Prepare and maintain internal and external HR reports
Employee Support & Customer Service

  • Respond to employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and HR processes
  • Provide high-quality, customer-focused support to employees, applicants, and stakeholders
  • Assist with employee relations matters and recommend solutions as appropriate
Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Assist with benefit enrollments and employee questions
  • Support administration of FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, disability, and leave requests
Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure HR practices align with organizational policies and legal requirements
  • Conduct periodic audits of HR processes and documentation
  • Assist with workflow improvements and process enhancements
Training, Safety, & Collaboration

  • Support internal training sessions and orientation programs
  • Coordinate HR-related meetings and employee engagement initiatives
  • Partner with departments and the Safety Director on OSHA-related processes, including incident reporting and training
  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance
Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in HR team projects and department goal setting
  • Provide backup administrative support as needed
  • Maintain regular and predictable on-site attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • Previous HR or administrative experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Experience with HRIS systems preferred
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with discretion and empathy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
